I speak on AI readiness for professional services firms — what the research actually says about AI returns, why the failure rate is where it is, and what firms need to sort out before they commit serious investment.
The session varies by audience but the core argument is consistent: 56% of firms committing to AI are getting neither revenue growth nor cost savings from it, and the reason is almost never the technology. The talk covers what the research says, what it looks like inside firms that are getting it wrong, and what the ones getting it right did differently.
It is not a technology talk. It does not end with a vendor recommendation. It ends with a set of questions the firm should be able to answer before they spend anything — and most of the room can’t answer them yet.
