AI Readiness Pre-Investment Review

A readiness verdict across six domains before you commit serious investment. The only offer that produces one.

Investment
£25,000
Timeframe
4 to 6 weeks elapsed
Format
Interviews, document review, structured debrief
When it's worth doing
  • Before you commit budget to an AI programme or a greenfield build
  • When pilots have gone well and nothing has scaled
  • When leadership believes the organisation is further ahead than the delivery teams do
  • When AI is touching regulated work and nobody can say where it is influencing decisions
What gets examined
  • Decision-making and delegated authority: who can actually say yes, and how long it takes
  • Technical debt and delivery maturity: whether the foundations can carry what’s being asked of them
  • Access to data and customer insight: whether what’s feeding your AI systems can be trusted
  • Leadership behaviour, trust and psychological safety: whether people raise concerns about an AI output or stay quiet and let it through
  • Governance, accountability and AI risk boundaries: who owns the output when the model is wrong
  • What should remain human judgment: where AI should not be making the call
How it works
  1. A scoping call confirms which stakeholders and which parts of the business are in scope.
  2. Structured data gathering across all six domains — interviews, document review, and a look at the artefacts that show how work actually happens.
  3. Findings are scored and cross-checked against the patterns behind each domain.
  4. You receive the readiness verdict and sit through a structured debrief to walk through what it means and what to fix in what order.
The output

A heat map ranking risk across all six domains, supported by a written narrative explaining what’s driving each score. No generic AI maturity model, no vendor shortlist, nothing assembled from a template. A clear verdict on where you will break, and what to fix in what order.

What this isn't

Strategy work. There’s no tool selection and no roadmap design. Strategy firms assess this from the outside. Technology firms assess the stack. MML doesn’t sell implementation, tooling, platform builds or resource — and nobody who assesses your readiness should have a commercial interest in the answer being yes.

Price and terms

£25,000. Billed 50% on signature, 50% on completion. Fixed scope — no creeping additions partway through.
